Update
A Bronze Age hoard was found near Blyth Bridge, containing a unique copper ingot and moulds. It was discovered in 2022, seven miles from the Peebles Hoard.
Limitations
The find provides insight into Bronze Age metalwork, indicating metal was imported into Scotland 3000 years ago. Further research is needed to determine its significance and relation to the Peebles Hoard.
